Cape Cape Peninsula Flight
View the majestic beauty and wonders of the Cape Peninsula by air. Flights depart from Stellenbosch Airfield. We fly along False Bay coastline through to Muizenberg and the navel base of Simons town, over the
Cape Point Nature Reserve, where you will see the spectacular cliffs of Cape Point, crossing over the Atlantic Ocean towards Scarborough, Kommetjie and the beautiful white sandy beach of Noordhoek, continueing through to Chapman’s Peak , Hout Bay and towards the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay. From here you will see the Twelve Apostle Mountain Range. We then fly past Table Mountain where you will have a vast view of Cape Town, the V&A Waterfront, and its coastline. We continue towards Robben Island, where you have the panoramic views of Table Mountain, making a round trip around the island we then slowly head back to Stellenbosch Airfield.
Cape Agulhas, & Tip-of-Africa Flight
Flights depart from Stellenbosch Airfield. We fly over the majestic Sir Lowry’s and Houwhoek Pass heading straight to Hermanus, famous for its whale-watching. Here you may be lucky enough to spot the Southern Right Whales of the ocean. We carry on to Cape Agulhas, officially the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet the Southernmost tip of Africa. We land at De Hoop Nature Reserve. Few other reserves offer as complete an outdoor experience as De Hoop – sea, sand dunes, the vlei, a floral sensation of rare fynbos plants, diverse antelope and the Potberg Mountains We will spend a bit of time exploring the area and enjoy a lunch at The Fig Tree Restaurant. Thereafter we head back to Stellenbosch along the pristine coastline, passing Kleinmond, Pringle Bay, Rooi Els and into False Bay.
