Focusing On Safety

CAS flights are operated on South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) approved Part 135 operators, whose aircraft have undergone a SACAA conformity inspection, have been certified for Part 135 operations, and carry an appropriate and current airworthiness certificate.

All flights are with pilots who hold a commercial pilot license, have at least 500 hours of flight time as a pilot, meet or exceeds the SACAA’s requirements for operating Part 135 flights, and who undergo and pass in-house testing every 6 months and a SACAA test by a Designated Flight Examiner every 12 months.

CAS operates strictly under the Law and Regulations of the SACAA which requires the aircraft to be serviced every 50 hours and 100 hours to keep operations as safe and reliable as it could possibly be.
