CAS flights are operated on the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) approved Part135 Air Operator Certificate, Aircraft have undergone a SACAA airworthiness inspection, and are certified for Part 135 operations and are issued with a valid and current airworthiness certificate.
CAS pilots hold a commercial pilot license, have a minimum of 500 hours of flight time, and meet the SACAA’s requirements for operating Part 135 flights. They undergo and pass in-house testing every 6 months as well as a SACAA test by a Designated Flight Examiner every 12 months.
CAS operates strictly under the Law and Regulations of the SACAA in relation to safety and reliability.
